Description
Medical crises can happen at any time, and you know that better than anyone. We pride ourselves on doing our best to prepare you for the worst. When you need to contain a situation quickly, we can help.
- Convenient, compact system that sets up in minutes.
- Adaptable with any ASAP® Shelter by simply adding an insulation liner, ECU and air purifier.
- Versatile isolation for protection or medical purposes.
- Capable of negative pressure, positive pressure and air purification.
The DLX Isolation Unit is just one of the many ways we provide rapid deployments to the medical field. This unit uses the ASAP® Rapid Shelter as the primary structure, which means that the initial deployment of the shelter will only require two people one minute to set up. With the entire system requiring just 10 minutes and two trained people to deploy it, you’ll spend more time focused on patients and less time worrying about equipment.
(Not only is the ASAP® Rapid Shelter the fastest shelter in the industry, it’s also the most multifunctional. Whether your agency already has an ASAP® or is in the market to acquire one, it can be used as an isolation unit, command post, decontamination shower, surge capacity unit and more.)
The DLX Isolation Unit is equipped with an ECU, offering climate control and comfort to patients, and a negative or positive pressure air scrubber with HEPA filter that pulls dirty air from the isolation chamber, removes contaminants, and then deposits the clean air back inside the shelter. The included air scrubber is capable of 12 or more air changes an hour, which meets the CDC and UK Department of Public Health air scrubbing requirements.
Additional components of the DLX Isolation Unit include shatter-proof LED String Lights and antimicrobial walls and floor. The kit conveniently packs into two Best Case by DLX™ wheeled hard cases that can be used as tables once unpacked.
We work around the clock to offer solutions in the face of emergencies. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions about how we can better serve the needs of your hospital or medical response teams.
