The U.S. Department of Veterans is the largest integrated health care network in the United States, serving 9 million enrolled veterans each year. When they approached us with a request for multiple field hospitals in response to the deadly COVID-19 crisis, we were eager to serve those who have served our country.

Veterans Affairs sought a series of medical-grade, rapidly deployable shelters for use in patient triage and treatment. These full-scale field hospitals include private patient quarters, complete bathrooms, and air scrubbing technology. With this project, DLX also introduced semi-trailers to our offerings. We worked closely with the VA to ensure all their requests were met through customization of existing products and the development of several new solutions.
