L.A. County

We worked closely with L.A. County to upgrade their rapidly deployable assets with new ASAP®️ Shelters for use in the event of hospital surge. The goal was to replace the county’s outdated inflatable shelters with something easier to maintain, store, and deploy. The ASAP®️ Shelters checked all those boxes, plus provided flexibility and ease of transport. The county also received several ASAP-18 Mission Ready Packages, DLX HVAC units, and Two-Lane Decon Hazmat Shower Kits.

All of the shelters were deployed as part of the county’s COVID-19 response. Due to the quick and easy setup, our ASAP®️ shelters have become the county’s go-to for emergency triage, surge capacity, decontamination, isolation, and COVID-19 testing/triage. LA County’s Hospital Preparedness Program positioned its healthcare facilities to be successful during the pandemic response, by being proactively equipped with shelters to distribute. Their feedback has become crucial to our health-care oriented product development.
