EUGENE/ APRIL 17, 2020 – On Friday over a dozen members of the Oregon National Guard visited Eugene-based company Deployed Logix (DLX) to pick up six truckloads of disaster relief products that will be distributed to smaller rural hospitals across the state in preparation for COVID-19 patients. Organized by the Oregon Health Authority, the order includes DLX rapid deployment shelters, mission-ready packages, HVACs, isolation kits, beds, and flooring. Members of the Guard also participated in a short demonstration on how to train hospitals on setting up the shelter systems.
The Oregon National Guard will be deploying the field hospitals to The Dalles, La Grande, Coquille, Reedsport, Gold Beach, Lincoln City, Lebanon, Bend, and Burns over the next several days.
