Nashville Nonprofit Delivers Medical Relief to Venezuela Earthquake Victims

NASHVILLE, TN, July 20, 2026 — Project C.U.R.E. is shipping over $775,000 of donated medical supplies and equipment to victims of the Venezuela earthquake. The much-needed relief, which flies out on Wednesday, is destined for victims of two back-to-back earthquakes that recently devastated the capital, Caracas, and claimed more than 4,000 lives.

“We’re excited to send lifesaving medical relief to help the people of Venezuela,” said Project C.U.R.E. President/CEO Dr. Douglas Jackson. “Many of the country’s health facilities have been destroyed. And medical workers, some of whom are also victims, desperately need what Project C.U.R.E. is sending to care for their neighbors and patients. We are grateful to our donors and volunteers who make these efforts possible.”

In addition to medical relief, the shipment includes a 40-foot tent, large enough to care for dozens of injured. The tent was donated by Deployed Logix (DLX), an Oregon-based company that designs and manufactures rapid deployment solutions for emergency response.

“Deployed Logix is honored to partner with Project C.U.R.E.’s mission to bring much needed relief to an area that has been so tragically affected,” the company said in a statement. “DLX is proud that our products were used during the immediate response, and we are determined to continue to aid the people of Venezuela alongside organizations like Project C.U.R.E. on the long road to recovery.”

Project C.U.R.E. chartered a Boeing 737 cargo jet to deliver the donations by Thursday, July 23. The charter is underwritten by Aspect Holdings, a Denver-based global energy company.
