On March 22nd, 2014 a major mudflow occurred 4 miles east of Oso, Washington, United States. An unstable hill collapsed sending mud and debris across an area of approximately 1 square mile. Forty-three people were killed and more than 600 personnel worked the on the landslide recovery operations. We are proud that our ASAP® Shelters were among the assets mobilized to respond to the disaster with the Urban Search & Rescue  Washington Task Force 1 (WA-TF1).
